There's a lot going on in this cookie but there's something about its mix of dried plums, figs, cherries, apricots, cranberries; the toasted walnuts, and hints of orange, almond, and cinnamon that makes me feel like I'm sitting by a roaring fire on a cold December night (while the Nutcracker Suite plays in the background?).
Ok, so that may sound much when talking about a cookie but one bite and you might just have visions of Sugar Plum Fairies too.
