When I open a box of See's Candies, I go right for the same piece every time: California Brittle. That thick slab of almond-studded toffee covered in creamy milk chocolate just gets me.
For our cookie version, we make our own big sheets of toasted almond brittle, crumble it into a brown sugar dough, fold in shards of silky, Callebaut milk chocolate, and (because we can) we top it with a drizzle of even more chocolate.
This year, when I open up our Valentine's Day Cookie Box, I know exactly which cookie I'll be eating first.
