I can still remember the post-nap time treat I had every day in Mrs. King's nursery school class: Mother's Iced Oatmeal Cookies and a cold glass of milk. I loved those cookies -- crunchy, slightly cinnamony, with a layer of sweet icing that crackled when I bit into it. Now, 50+ years later, our newest cookie takes me right back to Beverly Vista Nursery School circa 1970...I only wish I still had time to squeeze in an afternoon nap!
