There are chocolate cakes...and then there's the Chocolate Blackout Cake.  Created during WWII at Ebinger's Bakery in Brooklyn, this cake - with it's signature coating of chocolate cake crumbs - is chocolate on chocolate on chocolate!

Our cookie version is a dark chocolate, slightly cakey/still chewy cookie dipped in a rich, chocolate glaze and covered in chocolate cake crumbs (we make a beautiful chocolate cake and then pulverize it in the food processor - sad, we know, but hopefully you'll agree that the sacrifice was well worth it!).
