When coming up with our deli-inspired menu for Father's Day, someone jokingly suggested Pastrami on Rye (we do make a Pancakes & Bacon Cookie, after all). We nixed the Pastrami but kept the rye.
This cookie has all of the flavors of rye bread: caraway, rye flour, and dark molasses...but it's earthiness is offset with creamy white chocolate creating something truly surprising.
(we've topped it with some caraway seeds and sugar crystals just for fun!)
